Scott Koester, LEED AP
Vice President
As vice president, Scott works in several areas at WAI Continuum, including administration, business development and project management. In the last role, he works as project lead, collaborating with clients during programming and concept planning and coordinates the project objecitves with budget and program issues. Scott helps organize the project team and assists clients in addressing project components such as marketing studies, zoning and regulatory approvals, financing and control issues. As a firm leader, he manages and monitors cost and quality control, both in-house and project driven, and spearheads our process management and procedures.
Scott is LEED accredited and works with the project teams to drive sustainable design and green construction principles throughout design and construction processes.
Scott's favorite projects are all those for which "the client has a passion for making it the best it can be. Not the most expensive, nor the prettiest projects necessarily. Simply the best." He feels a special sense of accomplishment when he attends a project open house, and sees both the client and users truly enjoying the space.
