THE CHALLENGE:

University Park sought to greatly expand the size and services provided on this southeastern campus. Currently providing long term care and minimal wellness programming, the new campus will offer rental and ownership senior housing with a large campus square program.

 

THE SOLUTION:

The repositioned campus, currently in design development, now features:

• New Senior Condos
• New Independent Living
• New Assisted Living & Memory Care Living
• New Senior Rental Townhomes
• An Existing Long Term Care Facility

Included in the phased independent living component is a town square that will look to bring the campus elements together for socialization and service needs. The current program includes space for

• Bank, post office& other conveniences
• Welness center
• Theater
• Home health service

A central focus of the campus' elevation and design style is that of its location within Virginia's rich heritage. The new components will blend seamlessly into the surrounding neighborhood and reflect the architectural styl for which this area is well known and revered.
