THE CHALLENGE:

•  Create new avenues for resident socialization and movement  
•  Reorganize activity space to prevent disruption
•  Construct replacement beds
•  Improve quality of life for residents

THE SOLUTION:

The most impactful solution was that integrating a 'town center' into the care center. This new component would provide new cafe style dining, activity and day room space to encourage resident gathering and socialization at a more casual level.

Innovative programming includes the integration of an intergenerational day care program that encourages structured and casual contact between the children and seniors. The child care program provides care for infants through preschools and includes adult day care for non residents as well.
