•  69 Independent Living Units
•  44 Assisted Living Units
•  25 Alzheimer's Care Units

THE CHALLENGE:

Looking to providing housing solutions for the growing needs of its constituents, St. Andrew's Lutheran Church looked to WAI Continuum to create solutions that would address:

•  Cost efficiency of the program for the church sponsor
•  A design that represented the heritage of the community and neighborhood
•  A multi-faceted design that would provide for a myriad of housing needs
•  Intergenerational programming for its residents

THE SOLUTION:

The final design reflected the strong "Scandinavian" history of the community, with the exterior facade aimed at blending in with the surrounding residential neighborhood.

Inside, the campus included unique detailing and :

•  Independent & Assisted Living, with additional Alzheimer's care alternatives
•  Points of choice for resident activity, wherein they can observe and socialize with others in their  community-like environment.
•  75 student child development center to create an intergenerational campus. A K-8 academy has also  been master planned into the campus for possible future growth.
