THE CHALLENGE:

Looking to rapidly grow its senior housing portfolio, Primrose looked to our designers to create a flexible design that could be utilized at each location while allowing for modifications at each site to meet individual community needs and regulations.

THE SOLUTION:

Incorporating a village design, the facilities offer apartment style units with town centers connecting the residential units and common spaces. This configuration allows each site to grow or reduce unit counts while maintaining the overall design integrity, requiring little to no extra design work for each additional site.

Providing an equal mix of independent and assisted living options, finished sites include:

•  An Italian garden cafe
•  An English pub-style ice cream parlor
•  Movie theatre
•  Library
•  Chapel
•  Variety of dining alternatives
•  Winding sidewalks
•  Educational space for lifelong learning programs
  
  

These design enhancements create a sense of home where residents can identify their space with points of interest, instead of carpet color and paint.
