David Wolterstorff, AIA
President
David is the president and principal founder of WAI Continuum and has over 30 years experience as a registered architect. He began his career specializing in healthcare design and has since expanded his experience to include educational, civic, religious and, most notably, senior housing and healthcare.
During his architectural career, David has distuinguised himself both as a design innovator and successful project administrator. As a design leader, David spends much of his time speaking to regional and national audiences on topics ranging from project management and process solutions to design innovations that forward the long term care model for improved quality of care and quality of life for residents.
As the lead designer of WAI Continuum, David spearheads the firm's focus for creative design and conducts overall programming, design and management of each project. He directs and leads our team during the design phases and maintains extensive involvement in client relations, firm administration, project design and cost control.
