Considering Applying for the Moratorium Exception?
State Announces Funding for 2005
For the first time since 2002, the state legislature has funded the nursing home moratorium exception process. The appropriated funding presents a great opportunity for providers to address needed upgrades and improvements to their facilities.
This year, in addition to previous criteria, the legislation has identified new priorities for approved proposals. They include:
- Building replacement in conjunction with bed reduction
- Technology improvements
- Life safety & work environment improvements
- Construction of facilities that are part of senior service campuse
A successful proposal requires careful analysis and creative solutions. WAI Continuum has worked on numerous successful proposals to address plans that improve not only a facility’s environmental design, but also consider how the environment can help with the delivery of care and services.
Now is your chance to look at your own physical environment and make it a partner for your organization. Let us show you how we can help you maximize your expenditures and create a cost-effective proposal that will be accepted.
With a 90% Moratorium Exception success rate, WAI Continuum can provide the insight, expertise and creativity needed to see your project through acceptance and a hassle-free project completion.
